How Sort Feed handles data in Chrome workflows

This doc summarizes procedural expectations. The Privacy Policy is the legal source of truth.

Last verified: September 28, 2026Extension version: 2.6.0

Scope

Sort Feed Chrome extension workflows on TikTok and Instagram.

Prerequisites

  • Read this alongside the Privacy Policy for full legal detail.

Steps

  1. 01

Sorting uses the open page session

Visible-post sorting works with content your browser can already load. It is not a private-content unlocker.

  2. 02

    Cloud tasks use credits

Transcription and some collection jobs run as credit-metered cloud tasks when you start them.

  3. 03

    You control exported files

CSV/JSON downloads are saved locally unless you share them elsewhere.

  4. 04

    Contact support for account questions

Email [email protected] for privacy or account requests described in the Privacy Policy.

Expected result

You understand what stays session-local versus what requires an intentional cloud task.

Common errors

I need the full legal text

Open the Privacy Policy page—this doc is procedural, not a policy substitute.

Known limitations

  • Downloader tools may have additional processing notes in the Privacy Policy.
  • Pinterest sorting uses a separate extension with its own listing.

Privacy note

Always defer to the Privacy Policy if anything here conflicts with legal wording.
